Percussion

Stefan Lichtenegger, born in 1991 in St. Veit a. d. Glan, received his first percussion lessons at the Althofen Music School. In 2011 he began his studies at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna with Prof. Josef Gumpinger, graduating with honors in 2019.

From 2017 - 2019 Stefan taught at the Free Music School Vienna and at the Music School Waidhofen/Ybbs.

His musical career has been marked by a variety of concert activities in some of Austria's major orchestras, such as the Vienna Radio Symphony Orchestra, the Graz Philharmonic Orchestra, the Tonkünstler Orchestra of Lower Austria, and the Vienna Volksoper Orchestra.

He was also a member of the Gustav Mahler Youth Orchestra and the Vienna Jeunesse Orchestra.
Since 2019, he is engaged at the Stadttheater Klagenfurt as a percussionist (with requirement to play timpani).
