Nicole Schebesta
Violin
Nicole Cécile Schebesta was born in Vienna and received first violin lessons at the Vienna Conservatory with Alexander Arenkow, before studying concert violin with Alfred Staar at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Graz, and later also with Klara Pantillon Flieder, Eszter Haffner and Dominika Falger.
During her studies she was principal violinist and concertmaster of the Wiener Jeunesse Orchestra. After obtaining the Mag.art. Degree in 2005, she received engagements with major symphony orchestras such as the Vienna Symphony Orchestra, the Vienna Radio Symphony Orchestra, the Tonkünstlerorchester Niederösterreich, the Vienna Volksoper and others on a regular basis.
Nicole furthermore participates in numerous freelance ensembles such as the Beethoven Philharmonic Orchestra, the Vienna Chamber Philharmonic Orchestra, the Vienna Chamber Orchestra and the Vienna Concertverein. Her travels as a member of the above-mentioned ensembles and as a chamber musician have taken her not only to many European countries, but also to Asia, Africa and South America.
